Kyle Decker is a 2018 OF/MIF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Fletcher, NC who attends North Henderson High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 6.97 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed fluidity to actions, athletic through the ball, loose, quick arm action, and good arm strength up to 85 mph. At the plate, started with an open stance, wide base, high hand set, and a simple stride to the ball. Hips cleared well with a line drive swing plane through the zone. Good impact off the barrel with bat speed. Swings with intent with a gap-to-gap approach and carry off the barrel. Present barrel feel as well as feel for timing. Exceptional student. Named to Top Prospect List.
