Alfonso Zepeda is a 2017 OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends South Dade Senior HS. Cepeda has a medium sized frame with a compact build. Defensively he has solid actions in the outfield and with solid footwork. Cepeda charges the ball well and has long transfers. He throws with a long arm action with arm strength up to 77 MPH with an upright finish. At the plate, Cepeda starts with a high hand set and an upright stance. He has some bat speed and showed some feel for the barrel. Cepeda made solid contact in game and showed the ability to go gap to gap with hard line drive contact. Very good student.
