Enrique Morales is a 2017 C/3B, 1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Ridgewood, NY who attends Rabun Gap Nacoochee High School. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and a strong, mature frame with present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 5.26 40-yard dash. Primary catcher, short stride coming out of crouch to gain ground on throws, compact arm action at release and ball comes out of hand clean, gets on top of throws with accuracy, mostly upper body at release. Righthanded hitter, begins swing with a simple weight load in the box. Clean stroke coming through the zone with solid bat speed, does a nice job of creating separation out front and incorporating physical strength. More power to come with additional lower half, shows nice strength at present coming off the barrel. Named to Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List. Very good student.
