Stephen Wilson is a 2016 2B/OF, SS with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Johns Creek, GA who attends Northview. Compact frame, athletic build with solid body control. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Moves well to the ball in the infield, slows down momentum a bit while fielding and funneling, but has a quick release and gets the ball across the diamond well. Accurate throws, developing arm strength, profiles best at second base. Right handed hitter, high hands set, close to ear level with slightly open stance. Stays inside the baseball, shows comfort in using the opposite field with level, line-drive plane. Could incorporate more lower-half into his swing mechanics, but has solid hands and hit a double to left center field in game-action. Excellent student.
