Nathan Anthes is a 2016 C/OF/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter HS. Compact athletic build, has good present strength. 7.27 runner, has good quickness behind the plate, moves well laterally, very good arm strength with a quick release, makes accurate throws and can throw from different angles in games, 1.82 best pop time. Looked good in the outfield with a long and loose arm action there during drills. Right handed hitter, open stance, tends to stay open during his swing, keeps his load and shift simple and repeatable, looking to pull the ball but showed RCF pop when he stayed back, has quick hands and creates bat speed, handles the barrel well. Well rounded prospect with athleticism for the position. Very good student.
