Andrew Keene is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Etowah HS. Medium athletic build. Creates very good angle to the plate from a high 3/4's arm slot, gets on top of the ball and works downhill, will spin off his front side at times out front. Fastball topped out at 90 mph early, glove side cutting action. Curveball had good power and some tightness, 12/6 downer shape at times. Flashed good fading action on his change up but still developing consistency. 6.95 runner who has two-way potential at the next level. Shows his athleticism very well in the outfield, very good arm strength with strong fundamentals and accurate on line throws. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright stance with a high leg lift trigger, has some strength when squared up and some whip to his barrel. Good student, verbal commitment to Lincoln Memorial.
