Derrick Lewandowski is a 2016 C/3B/1B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Boynton Beach, FL who attends Boynton Beach Community. HS. Smaller young build. Sets up well behind the plate, quiet receiver who receives the ball well, accurate throws with a long loose arm action, can improve footwork and exchange but has the defensive tools to develop. Right handed hitter, busy hand load, moves into contact early, loose swing with the beginnings of some bat speed, high extended finished, flashed some game power to the gap. Good student.
