Dallas Woods is a 2014 RHP/OF/MIF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Ross S. Sterling HS. Smaller build with some present strength. Fast paced drop and drive delivery style, short compact arm action, stays balanced and directional, works quickly, some effort at release. Low 80's fastball, mostly straight, gets good 11/5 shape to his curveball, throws curveball for strikes and mixes well, will need to get some movement or deception to his fastball in the future. Shows sound infield actions on defense, quick release with good arm strength, good hands, also plays the outfield. Right handed hitter, short downward swing, line drive contact, hits to all fields. Good student.
