Riley Troutt is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Bartow HS. Compact athletic build with broad shoulders and good present strength. Even paced delivery, big leg lift start, drop and drive to the plate, high front side and leads with his left arm well, gets over front side consistently from a compact over the top arm slot, will spin off his front side at times on release. Steady upper 80's fastball from both wind up and stretch, works low in the zone well and gets nice arm side running life at times. Curveball is a solid second pitch, commands it well with good feel for locating, has nice 11/5 depth and tight spin. Efficient pitcher who fills up the strike zone. Excellent student.
