Mitchell Johnson is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Atascocita. Johnson has an athletic build. Hits from a square stance, leg lift trigger. Shows good bat speed with a line drive swing plane. Uses whole field and shows gap to gap power potential. Repeats swing and makes consistent hard contact. Defensively, short arm action and ball comes out clean and online with carry. Arm is easy and works well, has plenty of athleticism to play CF. Also pitched. High 3/4 arm slot, arm works well, fastball is heavy and runs at times. Really attacked hitters with fastball. Curveball is developing and shows 11/5 spin. Throws strikes. Good Student. Named to Top Prospect List.
