Tyler Phillips is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Lumberton, NJ who attends Bishop Eustace Prep. Extra tall, lean, projectable frame. Ideal pitcher's frame. Ran a 7.55 60 yard dash. Works from a simple delivery with a medium leg raise and a quiet upper body. Throws from a three-quarter arm angle, and has a short arm circle. Fastball topped at 86 mph, and projects to throw significantly harder. Also mixed a curveball at 67 mph with some downward action and 11-5 rotation. Changeup shows some sink and spotted it well down in the zone. Big potential. Also swung the bat, works from an upright stance, has a two part swing and flashes some power potential. Good student.
