Austin Elliott is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Mill Creek. Medium, athletic build with a long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athletic actions and moves feet well while charging in and attacking the ball, sound footwork working through the ball, quick release on accurate throws with arm strength that will continue to develop. Also pitched, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action in the back. High leg kick delivery with moving parts, does a nice job of getting on top of the ball and shows an easy arm action at release. Works fastball to both sides well, filling up the strike zone with topping out at 80 mph. Induced weak contact and flashed a 12-6 curveball at 69 mph. Right-handed hitter, lower hand set, shows a strong and short swing path to the ball, uppercut plane to the ball with some lift and strength to pull side at contact, creates bat speed with some weight shift through lower half.
