Brannon McInerney is a 2014 RHP/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends College Park HS. Strong athletic build, fairly mature physically. Drop and drive delivery with back side collapse, rotational delivery with extended 3/4's release, comes at right handed hitters with good crossfire angle, tends to rush to plate. Fastball topped at 82 mph, mostly straight with occasional riding action when up, tends to pitch flat due to delivery/mechanics. Big sweeping slider has depth at times, throws strikes with both pitches. Right handed hitter, rocking load, tends to get hands started late, long rotational swing, has strength to hit and raw bat speed, could improve with mechanical adjustments. Good student.
