2014 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Quinton Forrester is a 2014 LHP with a 6-9 240 lb. frame from Iowa City, IA who attends Iowa City HS. Extremely tall well proportioned frame, has plenty of ability to firm up and get stronger. Full arm circle in back, high 3/4's arm slot, creates downhill angle, front side leaks open at times, arm works well coming through. Primary fastball pitcher, threw 90+ percent fastballs. Consistent mid-80's with heavy sink and run, throwing bowling balls when down in the zone. Curveball still developing and didn't throw change up. Obvious prospect status due to size, left handedness and relative velocity but patience will be needed. Signed with Johnson County CC.
