Daniel Klinger is a 2015 OF/LHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Landenberg, PA who attends Avon Grove. Medium, athletic frame with a lean build and room to fill out with added strength. Very strong runner, posted a 6.68 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, uses speed to attack the baseball, athletic actions, works through the ball well, full arm action with some effort at release, tools play well in centerfield. Left-handed pitcher, worked in the 74-75 mph range with his fastball on the mound, throwing from a three-quarter arm slot with a very easy and compact delivery. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance with a spread lower half. Upper half swing, shows a feel for the barrel, loads hands, line drive swing plane, shows strength in swing with nice bat speed. Very good student.
