Luis Rivas-Lastra is a 2014 C/3B with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Fossil Ridge HS. Medium to shorter build, some present strength. Left handed hitter, high hand set, no stride, smooth swing, ball comes off the barrel well, flashes some developing bat speed, mid field line drive contact, can get long at times but has tools to develop. Clean arm stroke, some arm strength for age, feet work, on line accurate throws, 2.05 best pop time, consistent release mechanics. Tools to keep developing.
