Ethan Rosehill is a 2014 C/RHP/OF with a 6-0 176 lb. frame from Honolulu, HI who attends Kamehameha HS. Medium athletic build, projectable with room to fill out. Very good arm strength for age, high release, 2.02 best pop time, plenty of time to learn footwork and staying compact/short in receiving actions, tools to keep improving, also plays outfield, 7.46 runner. Right handed hitter, upright open stance with busy load, long swing with high finish, aggressive approach, mostly mid to opposite field contact, beginnings of some bat speed but needs to simplify and shorten approach. Also pitched, fast paced delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, some backside collapse, fastball topped at 81 mph, good cutting action when down in the zone. Has lots of raw tools, time to work on the fundamentals. Good student.
