Peter Papcun is a 2014 OF/3B, IF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Brick, NJ who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Tall, thin and very athletic. Still has room to add strength as well. Plus runner, ran a 6.72 60 yard dash. Shows a strong outfield arm and makes consistent on-line carry. Athletic actions and shows good range as well. Right-handed batter, hits from wide, balanced stance. Produces big backspin and showed usable game ready power to his pull side. Very aggressive hitter, shows good bat speed. Puts together long at-bats, and handles off-speed pitches. Uses that opposite field effectively. High upside hitter with room to get better. Very good student.
