Austin Edens is a 2014 1B/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends St. Michael the Archangel HS. Medium frame, strong compact build. Noisy approach and setup in the box, aggressive hitter, good bat speed with good extension through the baseball. Handles the inner half of the plate well, strong at contact, showed in-game pop. Solid arm strength, long arm action on throws. Excellent student.
