Caedon Saltis is a 2014 C/3B, 1B, RHP with a 5-11 225 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends IMG Academy. Strong, mature build with significant present strength. Ran a 7.28 60 yard dash. Good athlete for his size. Bats right-handed, works from a slightly open, upright setup. Shows middle of the field power potential and stays compact to the baseball. Shows a sound approach. Shows an accurate arm from behind the plate and gets it out quickly. Receiving actions need some refinement. Hands work on the infield and is accurate across the diamond with solid arm strength. Also took the mound, reaches 81 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot. Has a loose arm action and finishes his pitches well. Flashes a slider with 10-4 tilt and more of a true curveball at 70 mph. Very good student.
