Joshua Tobias is a 2011 MIF/3B with a 5-9 194 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC who attends Southeast Guilford HS. Compact athletic build, very strong for size. Quick twitch athlete, 6.35 60, consistent 4.1's home to 1B. Switch-hitter, superior bat speed from both sides of the plate, ball explodes off the barrel, quicker and a bit shorter left handed, more lift right handed. Won Home Run Derby hitting right handed. Speed and quickness best tools defensively, works hard, charges aggressively, arm strength suited for second base. Very good student, verbal commitment to Florida. Profiles well as CF. Selected to the Aflac All-American team.
