Dylan LaVelle is a 2012 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Lake Stevens, WA who attends Lake Stevens. Solid athletic build, well put together. Good lower half use, confident approach, line drive swing plane. Good balance at the plate, ball carries hard off the bat, good bat speed, strength at contact. Hips work well in swing, high level hitter. Smooth defensive actions, plus arm, high level 3B defensive actions, also showed well in OF and on the mound. Up to 86 on the mound from a high 3/4 slot with loose arm action and a smooth balanced online delivery. Good command, solid pitcher but future is in the infield where he is a high level prospect.
