Jordan Gross is a 2011 LHP with a 6-2 193 lb. frame from Franklin Lakes, NJ who attends Don Bosco Prep. Wide shouldered build, strong lower half. Full windup, compact arm action, 3/4's release point, hides ball well, cuts off some out front. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, cuts FB effectively at 82 mph. Two types of curveball, big soft downer at 65 mph, tighter sweeping curveball at 70 mph, latter is much better pitch. Didn't see change up. Has an idea how to pitch. Good student. Verbal Tulane.
