S Dalton Irwin is a 2009 3B/1B/P with a 5'11'', 185 lb. frame from Clinton, TN who attends Knoxville Catholic. Strong athletic build, present strength through, good upper body strength. Feet work on IF, aggressive to ball, gets rid of it, good body control, arm works, accurate throws. Square stance at plate with crouch, high hand set, strength in swing, shows opposite field power, hits it where it's pitched, has batspeed, aggressive approach, hands stay inside. 3/4 arm slot, has armspeed, extended arm action, stays online, high leg kick, deception in delivery, CB for strikes, feel for CH, good student.
