Michael Schmidt is a 2009 MIF/OF/C with a 5'10'', 180 lb. frame from Baltimore, MD who attends North County. Strength in lower half, wide sloped shoulders, athletic. Moves well to ball on IF, feet work, throws accurate to bag, gets rid of it. Slightly closed at plate, high back elbow, good batspeed, long stride, shows lift in swing, will drive ball opposite field, aggressive approach, gets out of box, good student.
