Jesus Santana is a 2014 3B/1B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Caguas Military Academy. Big strong physical build, solidly put together. 7.23 runner, lacks ideal mobility on defense, very good arm strength when feet are set, likely first base future at the next level. Left handed hitter, spread stance, big pull back load, long pull oriented swing, looking to pull and lift the ball, mistake hitter. Ideal position is on the mound. Arm really works well and has the size and strength to potentially become a power pitcher. Good student. Named to the Caribbean Showcase Top Prospect team.
