Blaise Maris is a 2015 C with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Gainesville, FL who attends F. W. Buchholz HS. Medium, strongly built frame with present lower half strength. Ran a 7.69 60 yard dash. Looks the part behind the plate. Has a good exchange and gets the ball out quickly. Arm strength is there and shows carry. Receives consistently. Bats right-handed, works from an upright setup and stays short to the ball. Has a patient approach and works the middle of the field. Flashes loft to his pull side. Consistent contact. Excellent student.
