Jared Case is a 2015 RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Legend HS. Extra-large, athletic frame with a young look who projects well with some added strength. Right-handed pitcher who works from a big leg raise delivery with some drop and drive towards the plate. Stays back over the rubber well, repeats mechanics and arm action nicely, releasing from an extended three-quarter slot. His fastball sat in the 84-86 mph range with occasional run to his arm side with the ability to spot it to both sides with intent. Changeup is a solid pitch at present at 76 mph, maintaining his release point and arm action. Effective pitching off of changeup. Curveball showed soft spin and short break early but tightened up over the outing. Potential for solid three pitch mix. Named to Rocky Mountain Top Prospect List.
