Garrett Goodall is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Nanaimo, BC who attends Nanaimo HS. Medium-Large frame with excellent athleticism and overall physical projection throughout body. Primary pitcher, rocks into windup, stays online through delivery with balance and explosion in lower half. Has some wrap in back of arm circle but comes out of it cleanly, arm works well, 3/4 slot, drives lower half well downhill to target. FB worked 79-82, touching 83, with good natural heaviness and running action down in zone. Showed good horizontal SL with sharpness, also flashed straight CH with good deception out of hand. Hits from already leaned back, loaded stance; big stride with front foot into swing but doesn't fully bring back half with him into contact. Hits the ball into the air with some jump; will develop more power with additional strength gains. Smooth, athletic footwork in the outfield; moved to ball well and fields cleanly. Threw accurately to 3B and home on a line with good carry, OF velocity topping at 82 MPH. Good student.
