Brandon Knarr is a 2017 LHP/1B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from York, PA who attends Eastern York. Knarr has a thicker strong body with a mature build and broad shoulders. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. Knarr has a simple leg raise delivery with a slight hip turn at balance point. He stays tall on his backside and has a directional delivery to the plate. Knarr has some rhythm and tempo to his delivery and gets on top of his fastball well. He gets some slight run on his fastball and located it to his gloveside well. He gets some extension at release and has lower effort to his delivery. Knarr throws a 1/7 curveball with pretty good shape to it at times. He flashed tight spin and some bite at times. Knarr also throws a change up at 77 MPH with some sink to it. He's an interesting left hander to follow with upside. Outstanding student.
