William Jeffry is a 2017 OF with a 6-0 168 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Puerto Rico BB Academy. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and a lean, projectable build with continued room to fill, looks taller than listed 6-foot. Very good athlete, fast-twitch muscle and advanced runner, posted a 6.57 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to and through the ball with lower half, sound footwork, long and loose arm action through the back, solid arm arm strength and carry with very good accuracy to intended base. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide, bent knee stance and a medium hand set. Upper body dominant swing but showed more looseness and leverage to swing than past viewings. Quick hands with a full swing path, gets the barrel through the zone well and comes off gap-to-gap nicely. Tools are there and projects with incorporation of lower half into swing. Very good student.
