Steven Valentine is a 2015 SS/3B/2B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Tierra Verde, FL who attends IMG Academy. Solid athletic build, has some present strength with room for more. 7.32 runner, has some lateral agility but more third base actions and profile, tends to field the ball deep when in the middle of the field, has very good arm strength and carry, arm strength has improved since last evaluation. Right handed hitter, deep high hand load, early stride to his front side, line drive swing plane, pull approach, has simple overall swing mechanics and timing, should keep improving as he gets stronger.
