Austin Moffett is a 2015 OF/MIF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Mount Olive, MS who attends Taylorsville. Moffett has a medium sized frame with a strong athletic build. He has very good arm strength from the outfield up to 92 MPH with carry. Moffett has short choppy feet to the baseball with good actions through the ball. He has projectable outfield tools. Moffett also showed quick transfers and soft hands on the infield with arm strength up to 88 MPH. He's a very good runner with a sixty time of 6.66. At the plate, Moffett starts with a lower hand set and uses a rock back load to start his swing. He uses a toe touch trigger and swings with effort. Moffett has good bat speed and has a short path to the ball. Interesting player with athletic tools. Very good student.
