Brant Stark is a 2015 C/MIF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends North Forsyth. Large, athletic build with broad shoulders and present strength on frame with some room to fill out. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, starts with a low set behind the plate, accurate to second base with throws, will continue to improve pop time by gaining ground with lower half towards second base. Moves well on feet to the ball in the infield, fluid and athletic action, quick and easy transfer with carry on throws across, shows some range up the middle. Right-handed hitter, pulls hands back at start of swing. Shows a short swing to the ball and stays through it well, nice bat speed coming through the zone with extension out front and uses lower half well in swing. Has a nice feel for the barrel and shows some pop to pull side. Good student.
