Sebastian Hutson is a 2019 C/IF, RHP with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Norwalk, IA who attends Norwalk. Compact frame with an athletic build and square shoulders. Ran a 7.38 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Sets up in a side straddle stance. Gains ground when coming out of stance with a medium action. Developing carry to the bag topping out at 71 miles per hour and popping a 2.11 during workouts. Also worked out as a secondary infielder. Short strides to the ball while fielding out front. Gets on top of throws with some carry across topping out at 78 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a wide stance and high hand set. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Rotational upper half actions to contact. Makes consistent contact when working to the pull side of the field. Righthanded pitcher with a small rocker step delivery into a higher leg lift. Full arm circle in the back with a high three-quarters release. Slight cutting action on the fastball in the mid 70's and topping out at 78 miles per hour. Curveball has some sharpness on a 12-to-6 break.
