Nicholas Miner is a 2017 OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Brooklyn, CT who attends Killingly High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame, has some room to still fill out. Ran a 6.92 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, short steps moving towards the ball, fields out front and bends at waist, high crow hop upon release to gain momentum, very short and compact through the backside with a longer release, getting on top of throws will help generate additional carry on throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high back elbow in the box and uses a leg lift trigger for timing at start of swing. Strides early moving into contact, upper body dominant swing with a line drive plane through the zone. Has moving parts to swing, shows a full swing path with a contact approach.
