Reo Shimbori is a 2018 SS/3B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Brookline, MA who attends Brookline High School. Younger player with a lean, slender frame, good athleticism, and room to continue to develop physically. Posted an impressive 6.86 time in the 60 yard dash with an aggressive approach in game on the bases. Primary shortstop, showed developing arm strength, ability to change slots, and raw footwork. At the plate, started open with an active hand set. Got on plane well, generated bat speed with a low effort swing through the zone. Worked with a pull side approach at the plate and will drive the ball more consistently with additional strength. Outstanding student.
