Armand Saraj is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends St Lawrence Academy. Saraj has a medium frame and build with room to fill out and add strength. Primary a RHP, drop and drive delivery with a short arm action to a mid 3/4 arm slot. Has good control of two pitches, fastball showed good movement down in the zone. Also showed good feel for curveball that flashed depth. Would throw the curveball in any count for a strike. Hit from a slightly open stance with a base. Toe tap trigger to start stride, gets to front side on swing and has good extension through baseball. Defensively, compact arm action, with a low 3/4 arm slot and release, has sure actions to the ball and showed good balance through transfer and release. Outstanding Student.
