Chris Cooley is a 2016 1B with a 6-1 218 lb. frame from Hattiesburg, MS who attends Blair Center Hattiesburg HS. Large and thick build, good present strength. Right handed hitter, straight stance with a good shift into contact, toe tap timer, inside swing path with a mid field to opposite field approach, has the strength to open up his swing and look to pull and lift the ball on occasion. Soft hands at first base, had good footwork, will need to work on his overall quickness and speed moving forward, Good student.
