2015 Florida Top Prospect Showcase
Seth Fraley is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Sedalia, MO who attends Smith-Cotton HS. Long, lean frame with solid athleticism, has room to fill out. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, has good instincts and is aggressive to the ball, fields out to the side, uses a big crow hop and shows whippy arm-action with developing arm-strength, up to 78 mph in defensive drills. Right handed hitter, hands close to body at setup, slight crouch with pointed back knee. Rocking hand load, small toe lift, long fluid swing with developing bat speed. Shows ability to loft baseball, should continue to improve with additional reps and strength. Also pitches, uses compact arm-action, works to high 3/4's arm slot, shows good cutting action on fastball. Also uses a curveball with 12/6 shape and changeup, knows how to mix pitches well. Very good student.
