Hunter Cromer is a 2017 OF/ with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Nancy, KY who attends Southwestern. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build and beginnings of strength. Projects for additional strength. Ran a 6.75 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed clean actions while closing to the baseball. Moves well with fluid lower half footwork. Creates good momentum into throws while working to the bag. Extended glove to hand exchanges into a longer arm cirlce at separation. Releases from a three-quarters slot, topping at 79 mph. Throws generated good carry to the bag with accuracy. Right handed hitter with a spread, straight stance and slighlty lower hand set. Hands work to a high position while loading. Simple, on time front side trigger that allows for barrel to arrive on time. Creates a line drive plane with slight leverage through extension. Swings with intent producing frim line drive contact to the middle of the field. Power potential will continue to develop with maturity. Good student as well.
