Michael Riggs is a 2016 SS/3B/RHP with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Falls HS. Long lean frame with an athletic build, room to fill out more physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 6.83 60-yard dash. From the infield, fields the ball out in front with quick actions through the baseball. Quick arm speed on throws with good carry. Showed impressive range in games to both glove and hand side. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a slightly open stance, wide base, and a high back elbow. Small leg lift and bat wrap load to activate swing. Full swing and quick hands, opposite field approach. Will see additional success with added strength to his tool set. Good student.
