Michael Yard is a 2016 3B/1B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Wall, NJ who attends Acad Allied Health & Sci. Has muscular thick athletic build. Right handed hitter who hit from a square stance, line drive swing plane with pull side approach. Showed good power potential during batting practice as ball jumped when off barrel. Showed high baseball IQ during games. Defensively, sure actions to ball, fields ball out front and works through well, throws are accurate and arm strength is developing, profiles as 3B. Very Good Student.
