Justin Romic is a 2016 RHP/ with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Winnetka, IL who attends New Trier Township. Large, lean frame with projection. Overtop arm action and generates good plane on the mound when on plane. Higher leg lift and creates some coil at balance point. Fastball shows life to arm side with ability to sink in the zone when staying on top of offering. Moves fastball side to side well, arm slot drops at times when locating to glove hand side. Fastball has an easy release and ranged from 78-81 mph, topped at 82 mph. Curveball shows 11/5 shaped with depth and can consistently throw for stikes, topped at 66 mph. Flashed at changeup at 66 mph. Arm slows at times with changeup but shows sinking actions down in the zone. Very good student as well.
