Peter Gallo is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Asbury, NJ who attends Immaculata HS. Large frame with athletic, highly-projectable build. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.83 seconds. Hunches over a bit in stance at the plate, even-based, middle-opposite field approach with good bat speed, hands work well through stroke, shows loft to stroke, able to drive the ball up the right center field gap. Worked out in the outfield, attacks the ball well and shows athleticism through actions, moves well, fields clean and works through, showed off big time arm strength, clocked up to 93 mph. Also pitched, works exclusively from the stretch, gets over his front side well through release, compact arm stroke to overtop slot, fastball worked 81-86 mph and peaked at 87 mph with short life. Shows slider with some spin and depth; has potential two-way upside at the next level. Named to 2018 Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List, outstanding student.
