Tripp Perry is a 2015 RHP/ with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Demopolis, AL who attends Demopolis. Extra-large, athletic build with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed hitter, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a quick and whippy arm action coming through the back side. Slow paced delivery with balance at top then drives towards the plate at release. Small leg raise with a short stride down the mound with lower half, gets across body at release. Works fastball down in the zone, topping at 83 mph with ability to get low to glove side. Curveball shows late 11-5 break with tight rotation and depth on the pitch at 71 mph, generates swing and misses with curveball. Splitter shows tumble at 68 mph. Projects well with added strength. Very good student.
