Jack Downing is a 2016 C/RHP, 1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Pleasant Hill, CA who attends College Park. Large frame, thick strong build with mature strength. Simple swing with solid bat speed and strength when pulling, uses frame length to create leverage to drive the ball. Long arm action on throws, moves well for his size around the first base bag. Also pitched, up to 78 from high three quarters arm slot and showed big depth on curveball. Good student.
