Austin Rauschenburg is a 2016 LHP/OF with a 6-1 240 lb. frame from Warm Springs, OR who attends Madras HS. Big thick barrel chested build, strong look. Basic leg raise delivery, good direction and pace, low effort mechanics and release he repeats well, high 3/4's arm slot with good downhill angle. Low 70's fastball, topped out at 72 mph, works the bottom of the strike zone, gets good cutting action at times. Gets good spin on 1/7 curveball with some depth, has feel for the pitch. Threw strikes with his fastball and curveball and challenged hitters. Change up still developing, tends to change arm action and release slot, also threw a knuckleball with some tumble for another look. Left handed hitter, rotational upper half swing, has some strength behind the swing and showed some carry when squared up.
