Lohden is a 6-5, 190 lb senior right handed pitcher from Texas with a strong, angular build that projects very well. He has a long, loose extended arm action and a mid 3/4's release point. Lohden's delivery is pretty raw right now but he doesn't do anything that isn't correctable. Lohden's fastball was 83-85 mph and he had some excellent sinking and running life down in the zone. Lohden had confidence in his fastball and wasn't afraid to challenge hitters with it. His secondary pitch was a soft hand position slider at 72-74 mph, but Lohden was primarily a fastball pitcher. A change up would help is overall effectiveness. Lohden is a work in progress but has a very good arm and a good present pitch in his mid-80's sinker. He could really blossom in the future.
