Jace Christopher is a 2016 RHP/MIF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Oklahoma City, OK who attends Westmoore HS. Compact build. Primary righthanded pitcher, starts from 1B side of the rubber. Submarine arm slot, presents different look for hitters, especially right handers. Still developing feel for delivery, inconsistent with landing and timing with front side. Ran fastball up to 74 mph, pitch has sinking and tailing action. Worked in sweeping slider in the upper-60s that kept hitters honest. Also flashed a rare changeup that showed solid potential and fading action. Right handed hitter, low, extended hand setup. Developing strength and bat speed, as with delivery on mound, inconsistent timing with lower half. Keeps swing short to ball. Excellent student.
